For 20 years, EPP have worked hard to alleviate the causes of fuel poverty.
This Fuel Poverty Awareness Day, we will be at The Venue, Huyton, providing advice to residents on how to keep warm and comfortable in their homes, and making sure they are on the best tariff.
Our Fuel Debt Advisors will also be out and about in the Wirral, providing support to customers with fuel debt. The Wirral Fuel Debt Advice Service can also support with funeral arears, water debt and funding towards white goods and boiler replacement.
As always, our Save Energy Advice Line will be providing expert impartial energy efficiency advice and referring residents across Merseyside and Cheshire to grants and schemes for additional support.
We will also be promoting our brand new project, Warm and Healthy Homes, which provides home visits to residents who are particularly vulnerable to cold living conditions, and delivers a range of personalised support which can include switching energy tariff, advice on using energy more efficiently, referrals for income maximisation support and funding for energy efficiency measures.
In addition, the Merseyside Collective Switch, managed by Energy Projects Plus, is currently open for switching. Over 7,000 Merseyside households are taking part in this current round. Those who registered are invited to switch to the exclusive market beating tariffs that have been negotiated for the group, with typical savings of £350 per year for a direct debit customer. Additional switching support is also available to those who missed out on the current round.
