Due to the success of the Switch Together, Save Together campaign the switching window has been extended until midnight on 30th March.
So far this round has saved over 700 households over £196,000 a year in total on their energy bills, with average savings of £274.
The Switch Together, Save Together campaign is organised by local charity, Energy Projects Plus, together with all Merseyside local authorities and social housing providers. The tariffs are only available through our collective partner energyhelpline and not on any comparison sites or by going direct.
Collective Switch member Nicola Hodge said: “Andy looked into the switch and it wasn’t very good for us, but Kathy next door took it up and has saved just on £270 per year. She is ‘absolutely delighted’. I told Nan about it too and she also saved a similar amount.”
To join the switch simply register before Friday March 27th at www.lcrenergyswitch.co.uk or call freephone 0800 043 0151 to speak to an advisor.
Chief Executive of Energy Projects Plus, Peter Owen said: “Having saved over half a million pounds on fuel bills since we started our campaign, we’re really keen for as many people as possible to take advantage of this opportunity.”
