Energy Projects Plus has delivered Wirral Council’s Fuel Poverty & Energy Efficiency Programme since 2009, in various forms. The current iteration of the programme, which is branded as Warmer Wirral, runs from April 2022-March 2024.

Our project aim is to provide energy efficiency awareness and fuel poverty support across the Borough. Our objectives are as follows:

1. To provide Wirral residents with access to our Save Energy Advice Line and to promote this availability
2. To deliver home visits to vulnerable residents in order to provide follow-on advice and support, where appropriate
3. To design and post a mailing to a council ward (or an equivalent number of properties), to promote energy efficient advice and support ahead of Winter 2023
4. To support Wirral residents in accessing the support made available through the Household Support Fund
