We operate a Save Energy Advice Line (SEAL), offering free and impartial energy efficiency advice to residents across Cheshire & Merseyside. Using the Save Energy Advice Line could save you from being cold each winter and equip you with the necessary information to keep you out of fuel poverty. Small actions can make a huge impact and by following a few simple home energy efficiency tips from us, you can save hundreds of pounds on your energy bills.
We have a team of qualified energy efficiency advisors who offer advice on domestic energy efficiency and renewable energy. They also provide information on grants and discounts available to residents to help make their homes more energy efficient. Our advisors have been awarded City & Guild’s in Energy Awareness Level 3, which allows them to identify clients individual needs, enabling them to tailor their advice accordingly. You could be eligible for grants and funding schemes that could lead to the installation of new boilers, insulation measures and renewable energy.
Advice includes:
- Ways to use energy more efficiently in the home.
- Switching energy tariff.
- Grants to help cover the cost of installing energy-saving measures such as insulation, a new boiler, and renewable energy technologies such as solar panels.
- Support with investigating if there are any payments householders may be entitled to which help towards paying energy bills.
- Help with fuel debt.
