Energy Projects Plus has delivered Wirral Council’s Fuel Poverty & Energy Efficiency Programme since 2009, in various forms. The current iteration of the programme, which is branded as Warmer Wirral, runs from October 2018-March 2022.

Our project aim is to provide energy efficiency awareness and fuel poverty support across the Borough. Our objectives are as follows:

1. To provide Wirral residents with access to our Save Energy Advice Line and to promote this availability
2. To deliver home visits to vulnerable residents in order to provide follow-on advice and support, where appropriate
3. To design and post mailings to two council wards (or an equivalent number of properties) each financial year, to promote energy efficient advice and support
4. To deliver a Warm Home Discount campaign each Autumn, to raise awareness of this scheme, and to help Wirral residents apply for it.
