Thanks to the great success of our initial project period 2022-24, we’re delighted to have received continuation funding from the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme. Warm and Well is continuing to provide energy efficiency advice and support to vulnerable residents across Merseyside and Cheshire, from October 2024, to September 2026.
Our Warm and Well team will be out and about, engaging with residents at community events, delivering in-home advice sessions, and providing advice over the telephone.
We will also deliver energy efficiency talks to community groups, and briefing/training sessions to frontline workers who themselves engage with potentially vulnerable residents.
The project team includes some of our own expert, specialist Energy Advisors, and we’re pleased to welcome Sefton Council’s Healthy Green Homes team into the project, too. They’ll be delivering aspects of the project within Sefton.
If you represent an organisation planning community events (particularly events in areas of deprivation) and would like to enquire about our availability to set up an energy efficiency advice stall, please contact events@epplus.org.
If you would like to request a briefing session about Affordable Warmth for your frontline workers (paid staff, and/or volunteers), please contact training@epplus.org.
To enquire about support for yourself or another person, or to find out more about this project, call our Save Energy Advice Line free on 0800 043 0151, or email advice@epplus.org. Lines are open 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday, apart from Bank Holidays, and the working days between Christmas and New Year.
