Funded by the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme (www.energyredress.org.uk) our Energy Action For Warmth project runs through till February 2022, providing the full range of energy efficiency advice and support to Wirral residents in three target areas:
- Seacombe Ward
- Birkenhead North
- Greasby, Frankby & Irby Ward
Our project team will knock on every door of these target areas, in order to provide residents with help around topics, such as:
- Fuel & water debt advice & grants
- Boiler repairs or replacement
- First time central heating
- Energy saving measures for your home
- Switching & price comparisons
As well as delivering door-knocking, we also provide advice over the phone, and at community events.
Before we knock on your door, we will post a leaflet to let you know we’re in your area. Should you miss us (or if you’re shielding and would rather not answer the door) don’t worry, we’ll be sure to include our contact details on the leaflet, so you can get in touch with us.
If you live in one of our targeted areas and would like to talk to a member of the team, please call our Save Energy Advice Line free on 0800 043 0151, or email advice@epplus.org.
You can also request a call-back by completing our “contact us” form, and you can provide insights into the team by completing our community engagement survey.
