We provided this support through home visits or at neutral community venues in Widnes. All frontline staff delivering home visits are qualified to Level 3 (City & Guilds) Energy Awareness.
In addition to this we are also offering Accredited Training Sessions to Food Bank Volunteers and Voucher Distributors to raise awareness of the issue of fuel poverty, how it is linked to food poverty and introduce the range of support offered with regular updates through a bi-monthly newsletter.
Our aim is to improve the health and wellbeing of clients and their families due to better home conditions and by increasing the resilience of clients they may not need to draw upon the support services in the future.
