Aim:

To provide a single point referral system for front–line staff to obtain help for vulnerable Wirral residents.

Objective:

To enable front-line workers from the council and other agencies to get appropriate help to residents by referring them to a central point which then passes the referral to the most appropriate organisation. As part of this Energy Projects Plus carries out home visits to help residents concerned about fuel bills, tariffs and the efficient operation of heating systems, in addition to providing advice on grants and discounts to reduce energy use.

Target area;

Wirral Council area.

Criteria for qualification:

Residents in the Wirral area.

Duration and funding of project:

The project is funded by Wirral Council and will ran until March 2013.
