Watt Watchers was an educational programme run by Energy Projects Plus and working in partnerships with local authorities and schools.
Aim:
The programme aimed to raise awareness of climate change and the importance of energy conservation.
Objective:
Delivering 45-60 minute long presentation which links in with key issues covered in Science for key stage 1 to key stage 3 pupils.
Watt Watchers provide background and information to pupils on:
- The financial and environmental costs of energy use
- Energy loss in the home
- How to inform others about energy efficiency
- And provide tailored energy efficiency
