The Aims of the project is to:
Deliver a series of Warmer Homes, Healthy People events to provide access to practical support for vulnerable older people and people who are suffering severe economic disadvantage and poverty and to distribute winter relief packs.
Objective:
To increase awareness of affordable warmth and provide practical support to assist in achieving it.
Criteria for qualification:
Resident in North Liverpool.

Outputs achieved:
Distribution of information and materials:
212 Toasty Bags were distributed. The bags contained fleece blanket, easy to make warm food, energy efficient light bulbs, water saver & information and advice on support to keep warm in winter.
Advice provided:
- Leaflets – in Toasty Bag
- Energy efficiency
- Keeping warm – all relevant support including Warm Front, social tariffs
- Billing information – understanding your bill
- Referrals
Clients / households helped:
The target groups were those on low incomes.
Referrals to third parties/ other agencies:
LCC Benefits Maximisation and Take Up service and Local Solutions Fuel Debt Advisors.
Standard of living improved:
Clients referred for benefit check could be receiving additional income as well as receiving a new a rated boiler and controls.
