Aim:
To reduce carbon emissions from domestic buildings and enhance the acceptance of renewable energy technologies.
Objective:
There are eight delivery partners for this project; six housing associations, Cheshire East Council and Energy Projects Plus. Cheshire West & Chester are the accountable body. The housing associations are installing a variety of technologies including solar hot water, photo voltaic panels and external wall cladding. Energy Projects Plus is collaborating with two housing associations to install solar hot water technologies on eight highly visible properties and also conducting surveys to find out what the barriers to uptake of the technologies are.
