Through the Smart Energy GB In Communities fund, we’re delivering advice and support to help older residents to take action at home to reduce their energy usage and bills, with a focus on using Smart Meter in-home displays as a method of measuring the impact of our behaviours around the home.
We will be:
- Delivering briefing sessions to frontline workers who themselves engage with older residents
- Attending community engagement events to talk to older residents about their energy habits, and where savings can be made
- Promoting our services through posters & leaflets in community venues, and online through Facebook advertising campaigns
- Providing answers to questions around home energy use and smart meters to older residents phoning our Save Energy Advice Line
If you are planning a community event and you’d like us to attend, or if you’re interested in receiving a training session, or simply to find out more about our Smart Energy GB project, please call our Save Energy Advice Line free on 0800 043 0151, or email advice@epplus.org.
