Aim:

To enable sub-regional local authorities to decide a collective response and way forward when Green Deal was launched.

Objective:

Regular meetings are held with officers from all three sub-regional councils from private sector housing and climate change departments, so that discussions and research can take place. This will enable the councils to decide if they are going to be promoters, providers or partners with others for Green Deal.

Target area:

Cheshire and Warrington.

Duration and funding of project:

Cheshire West and Chester and Cheshire East local authorities, funded until March 2013.

Outputs achieved:

Government consultation to Green Deal responded to, briefing for elected Council Members produced, meetings with other councils to share learning.
